Fair and crisis ... crisis ... and the crisis
From Casablanca to Paris and from Paris to Bologna and finally to Rimini, a unique word in the mouths of tourism professionals: the tourism crisis. Our visit to the BTC exhibition in Rimini was also an opportunity to feel the frustration and disarray, which has not bend all the professionals in their belief of a very soon take-off. Some considers that it will be possible for the spring of 2012 while others focus more on changes in customer behavior as well as MICE tourism.
The crisis in Europe, the debt in the U.S. and the poor health of the euro complicates everything. it requires community solidarity, Greece is at an impasse and the health of companies and European taxpayers will keep the legacy and their travel and holidays will be the first to suffer from this conjuncture. For now, it's the era of good managers "of the crisis" the hard discount and low cost. In Morocco the summer was quiet and destinations such as Marrakech and the Mediterranean coast have to be content of the rush of domestic tourists and Moroccan abroad residents because of the lull of international tourism.
